The public first became aware of Chuck Stapel's famous award-winning knives from their appearances in motion pictures, television shows, commercials, and print advertising. As a third generation Los Angeles native, and living walking distance from the major Hollywood studios, it was only natural that his knives would quickly find themselves as super stars! 

Many a director, producer, art director, special effects technicians, and prop master made their way to Chuck's studio to have him create custom unique pieces. His knives have appeared in dozens of movies such as "Quigley Down Under", "No Mercy", "Little Nikita" and "Switchback"; in hundreds of commercials, and print ads, and in countless television shows, such as "Wildside", "Magnificent Seven", "Thunder In Paradise", "Walker: Texas Ranger", "Knightrider", "Jason and the Argonauts", and "Magnum P.I."
